Where Is the Good Samaritan Now...
Why Baptism…
It is for the public remission of our sins. Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Matthew 3:13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
It was this important to Jesus to travel to John the Baptist, to be publicly Baptist of water by John. But even John did not understand completely.
And said in Matthew 3:14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
That’s when Jesus told John in Matthew 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him, suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil ALL! Righteousness. Then he suffered him.
John made it clear to all the people in Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. But he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
John was a voice in the wilderness preparing a path to be opened for Jesus to start on His journey and the opening of this path is for us all, to Believe and receive the Baptism of water..! John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. One True Word of God... KJB
From Deuteronomy: to Hebrews: It talks of tithes.
I GIVE {TITHES} meaning 10% of ALL I POSSESS, Not just money..! The law of the Old Testament...
And hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates and be filled.
And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's: it is holy unto the Lord.
Today' I tell you this, pay No tithes...! But give from the Heart.... Until your Joy overflows...!
----
It is not about robbing God anymore? Its about doing what Jesus asked. But ye say, what have I not done for thee? In the last days you will say Lord, Lord. But you have not listen to the Good Samaritian...
----
I guest this is one thing that we forgot to read for our selves. I give tithes of All I possess. And has give it unto the stranger, the fatherless and the widow. That they may eat..! I do not see any where that it says, give it to the church leaders on the corner to make him rich..!
Being a good Steward, overseer. Also means taking responsibility for how you are doing these things. Some people seem to think. All I need to do is hand my money over to the Church leaders or charities and I'm done. Wrong..!
Jesus made all of us Stewards for a reason. You put everything in one persons hand. You get a rich person. Who needs to be looking for a large needle.
Why' because only God can truly control the human flesh. When its all put in our hands we become greedy, self centered and better than everyone else.
I have seen many good speaking preachers turn to the green back's golden calf. But you can't blame them. Because we all put the money in their hands to do everything for us. Instead of taking responsibility for ourselves.
You see, when that person you gave your money to. Goes out to a strip joint you don't know about or buy's an apartment house and kicks the poor in the street. That is you doing that also. Because you are sponsoring him/her with your money. And know that, what once was your money is now just a pocket full of green backs you gave to someone. (you noticed I said money,Not Tithes)
So now you have not only, Not' help out your church. But you have helped a possible good Teacher to be tempted by more then they can deal with.
God said He will put no more on you then you can stand. But mankind will! and that's you.! We have help to create the new earthly satan. Someone who has become Evil through gaining greed and power that we place in there hands.
It's time we all stop handing over our money to just any one person. Or even some people you know and feel you can trust. Because we are hurting them and ourselves. And remember money is not tithes. It's everything we own.
It is time to help these good preachers. By standing up and saying I'm going to be a good Steward for Jesus. And its time to open the church books. Because being a Steward is to be done by all of us not just a hand full. And it begins at The House of God.
By doing this you not only help the preacher become a good teacher again, but You become a responsible steward again and your money and what every you own become tithes again for the poor. And with a little Faith, a lot of Hope and a Great amount of Love. We can defeat this word, poor.!!
What should I do with my money for the church.?
The Holy Spirit has shown me some ways over the years and I'm sure He will show you even more. But one thing for sure God does not have a form and a clip board.
Before we had star preachers. We did things the right way for our Father's Family. We knocked on doors. To see who needed a Church and who needed help.
What has been shown to me, first of all. We all need to sit down and count the cost for our Church and teacher. That means everyone that goes to the Church and is expected to pay support there. Has a say.!
Remember Jesus owns the cattle on a thousand hills. And we are his overseers. So remember. He placed all this in our hands. Some 5, some 2, and some 1. and He is coming back to check on us. and if nothing else. We need to at least show Interest" on our holding for His Faith in us.
We need to go back to our local places you call Churches and help them get turned around. Jesus asks us to be good stewards. But He did not tell us to temp the Lord thy God.!
By getting back to being a Good Steward your not only getting the poor the help they need but you are also helping the star preachers to get back on the right road. If at all possible..!
If you want to question this. Read James from the true Word of God.! Our hard roads is not to be looked upon as a pain but as a Blessing.
Remember this is about our journey through living on earth and where we are going to end up. We have hard enough roads to travel without being Hungry, cold and homeless... In this valley of shadows and tear's...
How many times has Jesus told us, when He was ask about tax's. {Give to Caesar, what is mans (money}. And to God, what is God, yourself.)
And Jesus told us how the Good Samaritan. Gave of himself and what he had..!
Then there was the lady who gave all she had, two pennies. To the building fund. She gave what she had of HER Self, to help others.
Jesus did not just talk the talk. When Peter coat was stolen. Jesus offer Peter His coat. He walk the walk... Can we say we do the same..?
